Terms and Conditions of Hire

This agreement is made between The Hamilton and Alexandra College (the College) and the Hirer.

The College agrees to allow the Hirer use of the College Equestrian Facilities as booked and confirmed by the Director Horsemanship. The Hirer will have full and exclusive access to the hired facility but will not use the key for any purpose other than outlined in this agreement.

The Hirer agrees to pay the College the sum shown on booking for the use of the facility.

The College is not liable to the Hirer for any loss suffered by the Hirer arising out of the Hirer’s use of the facility. The Hirer releases the College from any claim made against the College arising out of, in conjunction with or caused by the Hirer’s use of the facility. The Hirer indemnifies the College from and against all claims, demands, actions, costs and expenses arising out of, in connection with or caused by the Hirer’s use of the facility.

The Hirer confirms that they hold public liability insurance for an amount of not less than $10 million per occurrence. The Hirer confirms that the policy remains in force for the duration of the hire period. The Hirer agrees to reimburse the College for the full cost of repairing any damage caused to the facility during the hire period. The Hirer agrees to notify the College of all injuries or damage arising out of the Hirer’s use of the facility within seven days of becoming aware of the injury or damage.

Bookings are fully confirmed once you have a booking confirmation and receipt from The Hamilton and Alexandra College. The Hamilton and Alexandra College reserves the right to discuss rescheduling bookings if required or if a clash occurs. Full day bookings and College activities always take precedence.

The Hirer agrees that all riders present during the booking must wear current tagged helmets at all times.

The Hirer acknowledges receipt of the Conditions for Hire of the facility and agrees to those conditions.
